How to Use Helium 10 App – Navigating Your Way Around

Helium 10 has four main sections, namely, Profits, ADS, Alerts, and your Account. To get around, all you need to do is to tap the icons in the navigation panel at the bottom of your screen. Let’s discuss what you can do in each of the sections.

Profits

Once you open the app and successfully sign in, the Profits section will be the default section.  The data shown in your Profits section is similar to what you see on the Profits dashboard in the computer version of Helium 10. The data shown is a comparison of different time frames. For example, the data of sales of this month is compared to the data of sales in the previous month. Profit’s data is divided into 4 sections. These are Reporting Gross Sales, Orders, Promos, and Refunds. The sales data is presented in descending order.  The display for Sales Trends is changeable from Declining to Increasing. You can do this by toggling between the 2 tabs. To change which products are shown, just tap the linked text “Declining” or “Increasing.” You can also see specific products appear under the Favorites section. To do this, you will need to tag them on the Products window using a computer in the full version of the tool. Both the Products and Orders sections can be expanded. This will allow you to see more products. To do this, simply tap the See All button in the top right corner. Once you tap See All, your full list of products will load. To see more details about a specific product, simply tap on it. This will open up graphs comparing the data of the units sold, the gross sales, and the refunds issued for the product. The line graphs show the progression of change and the comparison of the data of the previous and current months. If you want to see a specific day’s data, just press on the screen on top of the line graph. This will make the numbers of the day’s pop up on the screen. If you keep pressing and proceed to drag across the graph, you’ll be able to see the data change.

ADS or Adtomic

In the ADS section, you’ll be able to see a snapshot of the following:

Current PPC SpendPPC SalesAdvertising Cost of Sales (ACoS)Totale Sales (TACoS)The conversion rate for all your PPC Campaigns

ADS can be very convenient because, at a glance, you’ll be able to see the following:

how your five highest ACoS campaigns are performingperformance of your five highest keywords based on conversion rate

These are based on the conversion rate and they’re represented by percentages. They’re even color-coded in the colors in the ACoS fields.  Here are the colors that you’ll be able to see and what they mean:

Green – the ACoS number is at or below the targetYellow – the target is running up to 2 times the targetRed – the ACoS number is 2 times the target

Alerts

This is where all of your notifications are. While you’re in this window, you can tap on the menu to filter the types of alerts displayed. You can find the menu in the top right of the screen which is represented by 4 lines of varying lengths.

Research

Under the Research section, you’ll be able to conduct your keyword research.  You can set which place you’ll be conducting your keyword research. For example, you want to know how “baby diapers” is ranking in France. All you have to do is tap on the flag icon next to the search bar and tap on the country you want.  If you would like to save some products or keywords, you can add them to My List. Usually, these are the keywords that you monitor from time to time. To find a product by its UPC barcode, just tap on the little camera icon. This will open up a screen that lets you scan a UPC barcode with your camera. Finally, you’ll be able to see your Recent Searches at the bottom of your Research section.
