I also like the fact that the watch is slim, so you don’t really feel it on your wrist, except I do have some concerns about its durability. For some reason it just feels like it might break if I use it too roughly. Why should you buy it?

The Gear Live comes from Samsung, so you can get the general idea that it is built to last. The design is wonderful, and the screen is built with an AMOLED display, so it’s quite durable for those rough situations. The watch always stays on so you can yell out a command and it will jump to action. The price tag isn’t exactly my favorite, since there seems to be plenty of other options on the market with comparable features at a fraction of the price. Why should you buy it?
3. Pebble Smartwatch: $119.99
The pebble is one of the most popular watch options, and rightfully so, since it offers some great colors to choose from. Not to mention, the style is unique compared to some of the other options on this list. It fits more comfortably on my wrist than other options, and the adjustment settings are easy to play around with. 4. Otium Gear Bluetooth Smart Watch: $76.88
Although I feel like this design looks a tad childish and clunky, the Otium Gear watch works seamlessly with your phone, and doesn’t slouch when it comes to finding all the features you need within seconds. Although this is an Android list, the watch is compatible with just about every smartphone out there. Why should you buy it?
5. Sony SmartWatch: $74.50
The Sony Smarthwatch offers a stunning design, with a smaller, square screen and a sleek rubber band that fits nicely on your wrist. For some reason it didn’t fit around my wrist as well as the others, but it did the job. Just keep in mind that if you have huge wrists this might not work well for you. Why should you buy it?
6. Samsung Galaxy Gear Smartwatch: $209.00
The Samsung Galaxy Gear is the ultimate smartwatch, with style and functionality packed into a small little device. The only reason I would ever recommend against it is because of its price tag. Since smartwatches are so new to the market, it makes me hesitant to spend this much money on something that pretty much just saves you a few seconds checking your phone. Why should you buy it?
